WEST HARTFORD - The Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame is accepting nominations of Connecticut companies and business leaders for induction into the Connecticut Business Hall of Fame's Class of 2007. Nominations will be accepted until February 1.
Nominations may be made online at www.ctbhof.com for nine categories including business leaders from small, medium and large businesses; companies of various sizes; non-profit organizations; and corporate volunteers. Nominations will also be accepted for business graduate students attending a Connecticut college or university; one student will be chosen to receive a scholarship award.
General qualifications for individuals include 15 or more years as business professional, accomplished leadership role, exceptional community and civic involvement, and a unique success story to tell. Qualifications for companies include operations for ten or more years, community involvement and a proven record as an industry leader.
The cost to nominate a company or person is $50 per nomination.
Selected by an awards committee established by the Connecticut Business Hall of Fame, the winners will be honored at the group's second annual induction awards ceremony next March.
