Three State Business Leaders Appointed To Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame's Board Of Directors

(West Hartford, CT) -- The Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame today announced the appointment of three state business leaders to its Board of Directors.  Serving each a three-year term are: Michael Scricca, Connecticut Technology Council, East Hartford, CT; Stephen Goldthwaite, SysNet Technologies, Enfield, CT; and Edward Kalat, Southington Tool & Manufacturing Corporation, Plantsville, CT.

The Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame showcases successful companies and business leaders through business networking and industry events that are held throughout the state. The organization partners with private and public organizations, associations and corporations to promote economic development and new ideas in the marketplace. Recently, the organization held its first induction ceremony by welcoming the "Class of 2006" which included CRN International, Hamden, CT; SUBWAY Restaurants, Milford, CT; Associated General Contractors of Connecticut, Wethersfield, CT; and Barker Specialty Company, Cheshire, CT. (West Hartford, CT) – As the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame readies for its First Annual Induction Ceremony this Friday, March 16, 2007 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at 151 New Park Avenue, Hartford, CT, it announced today the Connecticut business leaders and companies that will be honored at the event and selected as members of the “Class of 2006”.

The four business leaders to be honored are Herb Barker, chairman, Barker Specialty Company, Cheshire, CT; Barry Berman, president & S. Richard Kalt, executive vice-president, CRN International, Hamden, CT; and John B. Farnham, executive director, Associated General Contractors, Wethersfield, CT.  The Connecticut based company selected to be honored is SUBWAY Restaurants, Milford, CT.
