Welcome to the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame Web site. Each year, our organization recognizes business leaders throughout the state that have demonstrated a long record of successful management, expertise and business skills along with noteable achievements. Several business leaders are chosen each March that have displayed a significant and meaningful impact within their industry and perhaps in other markets as well. In addition, several Connecticut-based companies are also inducted into the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame that have demonstrated an exceptional role as a businesses entity in the state.
Accepting nominations online, general qualifications for nominees include 15 or more years as business professional, accomplished leadership role(s), exceptional community and civic involvement and a unique success story to tell. The qualifications for companies include operations for 10 or more years, community involvement and a proven industry leader.
As well, each year a corporate volunteer and a graduate student concentrating in business studies at a Connecticut college or university will be chosen and presented with a scholarship award to support their studies. From New London to Newington to Newtown the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame will begin on September 25, 2008 to accept nominations of Connecticut companies and business leaders for the 2008 induction class into the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame in March 2009.
